Mahault van der Eych

Mahault Van Der Eych (nee Swynford) was born in Grafton Regis, Northhamptonshire, England in May of 1449. Only daughter to the local physician,  he was taught the healing arts by her doting father. Called into service as a midwife and healer to local gentry, she came to the attention of many well-placed ladies. She  as often called to court to deal with “problems” that arose. It was during one of those clandestine visits that she met Berend Van Der Eych. Smitten, he promptly asked for her hand. Together they travel from his home in the Nederlands to their  thriving shipping business in Horence with their two children. Mahault has once again endeared herself of the local nobility and is often called to court.
