| Mahault van der Eych
Mahault Van Der Eych (nee Swynford) was born in Grafton
Regis, Northhamptonshire, England in May of 1449. Only daughter to the local
physician, he was taught the healing arts by her doting father. Called into
service as a midwife and healer to local gentry, she came to the attention of
many well-placed ladies. She as often called to court to deal with “problems”
that arose. It was during one of those clandestine visits that she met Berend
Van Der Eych. Smitten, he promptly asked for her hand. Together they travel
from his home in the Nederlands to their thriving shipping business in
Horence with their two children. Mahault has once again endeared herself of
the local nobility and is often called to court.
Debra Mattingly is an uberkeener, interested in all
things A&S. Currently she is working on reconstructing garments exhumed from
the Sagrestia Vecchia in Italy, leatherworking, learning to weave and making
period soap. She is also working on the final pieces of her Lorica Segmentata
and is looking forward to bashing in the heads of all comers very soon. In her
spare time, she works as a Correctional Officer in Lindsey.
