Persona:
Iolanda / Khadaajin is a Spanish woman, who sailed to Ealdormere to engage in trade, one misty morning of the 13th Century. She fell in love with the cliffs, but sailed back and forth between the Old Continent and Ealdormere once every year. During one of those trips, while she was traveling to meet a silk caravan, she was kidnapped by a wing of the advancing Mongolian army.

In the beginning, life in the steppes was hard, but she survived and adopted the name of Khadaajin Bayar (Joy of the cliffs) to remember her Ealdomere home. She became profficient riding and shooting the bow on horseback, and even helped during several raids.

One night, she waited for her guards to get drunk on fermented milk and she escaped. However, upon returning to Ealdomere, Iolanda realized that the Mongolian way of life had also kidnapped her heart, and so she wears their dress and carries on their traditions to this date.
