The bone needles were hand carved and shaped from "blanks" (thin strips of bones) provided by THL Lady Eleanor of Cadfan. I am using them to make Naalbinding items with medium-thickness wool.

The knuclebones are actual bones from sheep legs, cleaned and prepared (and in the case of the brown ones, dyed with black tea) in order to play early dice games and Mongolian games.
