The
Canton of Ardchreag does a lot of work to create a weekend for all of
Ealdormere to kick back and relax. Here are a few things for you to consider
to help us keep things running smoothly.
Please take
the time to read this over at least once!
-
Garbage - Please place all the
debris from your camp into a garbage bag - Bags are available for free
at Troll. Full garbage bags are to be taken home with you at the
end of the weekend.. Please ensure that
your camp site is left cleaner than you found it.
-
Fire Pits - Please
dig responsibly sized firepits with the supervision of Event Staff. Please
use good judgment before throwing substances onto campfires i.e. not
lamp oil or petrochemicals, etc.
-
Firewood
- Please
note that there is firewood on site for your use. It's included in your
site fee. All we ask is that you are reasonable with your consumption so
that there is plenty for all to use.
-
Pets
- We are allowing pets again this year. Be warned that there are Coyotes
in the woods and as Homer the Wise once said "if they get eaten, it's
your own fault!" We ask that pet owners keep them on a leash,s clean up after
their pets (bring some bags to poop and scoop), and keep them relatively
quiet so as to not to disturb others enjoyment of the site (especially
at night). If you have a pet that is known for being unreasonably loud,
make arrangements to keep him at home. If you bring a pet and are
careless with their care or they are disturbing others, you may be asked
to leave.
-
Cigarette butts must be
disposed of properly (e.g. in fire pits). The site is a conservation
area and littering is NOT acceptable.
-
Drinking - The
Trillium War site is discretely damp, please keep bottles
and cans out of view.
-
Drinking Water/Washing Water - The Trillium War sites water
source is extremely high in mineral content, and is no longer suitable
for washing or drinking water. Please arrange to bring water with you to
the site for drinking. However, the Canton of Ard Chreag will be
supplying some water for dish washing purposes. Bring a bucket and fill
up at the barrels!
-
Camper
Trailers
- If
you wish to bring a camper/trailer, you
MUST contact the Autocrats
-
Emergency
Communications - Eirik Andersen will have his cell phone with him at
the site. If you need to contact someone on site in case of a emergency,
you can call 905-442-2670. He has an answering service, so if your call
is not answered, please leave a detailed message for him to pass on.
-
Cars at the list field -
Please do not park your car at the list field. It's one thing to drop
your armour and park it back in the parking lot, but it should never
EVER be parked at the list field or the end of the road next to it.
The Jacks Guild will be watching.
-
Getting
the autocrats out of bed for frivolous matters is not a
good idea :)
